Sadsquito is great. Also, I'm so happy I found this manga. It's a fantastic roller coaster, and the mosquitos are genuinely creepy. This and the dinosaur one are probably my two favorite post-apocalypse military series, though the dinosaur one takes itself way more seriously.

awww sad mosquito... pwease let him survive. this comic is all over the fucking place, i wasn't really feeling it in the first few chapters because the initial set of characters were really clearly throwaways but it really got good. always excited when a new chapter goes up, thanks for your hard work.

@furd It's called Cretaceous Period, it's on this site. It's the same genre, post-apocalypse disaster military story with monsters, but what ended the world was dinosaurs suddenly appearing all over the place on the planet, not mutant mosquitos. Also, there's nothing silly in Cretaceous, it takes itself and it's scenario seriously. We don't really have an answer as to how the dinosaur thing happened, but it's implied some experiments with something like the Large Hadron Collider damaged time in some way, or otherwise had consequences on our reality we don't understand. Again, that's implications, we don't know what caused it, that's the big mystery of the series. Maybe a wizard did it, we'll find out.

Post-apocalypse military disaster is a pretty niche little genre, but it's one I've taken a liking to. There honestly aren't that many stories for it, but it does kind of exist.
