Haha, nah the gyaa is the dragon "roaring" and that someone is the lady that pushed Sora. You can see her scurry away!

I can only guess that author was running out of time and just slapped two objects together.

Art seemed really substandard in this one.

And chapter was only 15 pages long, unlike the previous one that was 25. But I didn't see anything on the author's Twitter mentioning it, or any specific reasons for lower quality. I do understand if December was rough for them (it certainly was for me hahaha).

I assume the "gyaaah" is from the dragon. But it doesn't maintain a specific font or style, so it could be anything:

I was looking forward to seeing everyone’s reaction to this chapter since I know how much everyone loves Skylar😇
Hilarious tidbit at the end of this corresponding WN chapter says: “Skylar, 22 years old, no lover”

Regarding the speculation, the WN makes no mention of anyone being eaten, so I think it’s someone running, but definitely looks…not great. I agree it’s probably Jake, or maybe old man Miguel.

Raw chapter 36 is out. From the looks of the arts alone (since I can't read japanese). That woman's behavior is even more stupid. Although it's not quite clear in this chapter,

it is shown that the rest of the party can see the dragon and the two women near the nest. So other people saw her pushing the MC into the dragon. It looks like she make excuse to her behavior but other people didn't wasn't having it. There is no resolution yet. I guess it will either be chapter 37 or 38.
