As much as I enjoy the pursuit of scientific (or magical) progress. Treating others with a trait that makes them different as subjects of tests, and not as people or even a collaborator, tells me that they hold no value in the thing they claim to research. It's a curiosity that murders for selfish gains.

So, this character is pretty good as an antagonist so far.

Those are the markings that make the belly get preggers, or at least that's how they're depicted in the ancient texts.

Many would say that allowing himself to be coerced the way he was was what broke the promise.
If he didn't slack off he would have been strong enough to not get captured, lol

This whole situation is highly suspicious. It screams, "I want a powerful item from the vault", especially with a completely suggestive thing like the "most valuable item". I feel like this is a plot that only works if you just let the villain do what he wants instead of actually giving any real push back.
