I.....THINK the issue is that for all the pomp the king was doing, he had zero power at all, already. That's why he was expecting his own death. This was way too scripted. The chancellor should have been stripped of all of his power and placed under house arrest, to boot. Yet there he was, waltzing around the royal palace with his underlings, as if he owned the place. This is the exact same thing I coomplained about earlier: the suspects were left to investigate their own crimes. Following that same logic, those fools in the palace should have told Second that he needs to investigate if Second, that is, himself, killed the king. But mysteriously they didn't leave it to him. Such nonsense, to put it bluntly. The author clearly has the skills to write better. Who knows what tight deadlines and stress resulted in this subpar development.
he wasn't really caught as being a traitor is the problem. he was found guilty of falsifying documents and killing a bunch of popular bandits, that's pretty much just politics really.First off, thanks a lot for the mass release.
Second. What the actual F... ? One side is meeting the king to get rewarded after good deeds. The other got punished for being basically a traitor to the kingdom, and somehow people might believe MC killed the king ? Also why is the chancellor running around free after he got exposed like that ? Why does he still have a job ? Why does anyone believe what he says ?
It's an individual chaps, so it's 62.Was Chapter 62 Kirei uploaded some days ago actually 61-II or something?
There seems to be a difference in chapter numbering between regular and tankoubon/volume version. Kirei uses regular version, while Silas uses tankoubon/volume version. Chapter 63 regular = chapter 62 tankoubon.I've been meaning to ask: this chapter was uploaded as "71" but on the first page it reads "70".
the numbering is one off since Chapter 63 (62)...
Was Chapter 62 Kirei uploaded some days ago actually 61-II or something?
Anyways thanks for the mass update. Appreciated.
"We investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing"This is the exact same thing I coomplained about earlier: the suspects were left to investigate their own crimes.
