I don't know whether those rank are real word in raw or translator kinda mistranslate it
also what is 'spear archery', if it's piercing archery it make sense
@Solemmaru@StormTAG It goes by [Tier] [Skill]. The [Tier] is apparently named with the names of pieces inside Shogi, a Japanese game that's similar to chess.
They're meant to be used as classifications, but alas, the formal names of the pieces in shogi are kinda written in stone and can't really be renamed, so they sound silly reading them as-is, especially with the long ones. It doesn't look as silly when it stays as Japanese.
>Make the main premise that the MC's uber-overpowered character was stolen from in and he has to make due with a sub
>Make the sub powerful as hell anyway, so there isn't even a real change
But thats the friggin premise, the journey to make him as powerfull or even surpass his main.
Just because he one shot three big mantises doesnt mean he's as powerfull or broken as his main whose pretty much the no.1 ranker in the game.
From what I remember about traditional Japanese archery (kyūdo I think?), they let the bow "follow through" in a way so that the bow ends up in a "backwards" position
I really like isekai fantasy manga
But I hate to read those status, skill, class setting or whatever
it feels like playing a game tutorial over and over again
Can't the authors skip those parts?!
