Dumbest way to setup a kidnapping lmao. Hack author. Biggest issue with so many of these authors is they don't know how to setup tension. Just one overused trope and scene after another.

hm, that seems like a no-brain set up to have MC show off his strength/undue the brainwashing of the elf girl. In the LN, did they at least allude to being followed by bandits?
Whatever the case, thanks for the translation!

I just don't understand how much of the 'game mechanic' thing is actualy part of their univers and how much is due to the MC being isekai'd as his game avatar. Cause clearly, the bandits think getting stabbed through the heart is mortal no matter what so the HP thing could just be the MC's thing but then you have other stuff like training the girls and raising their stats, presumably extending to HP too.

So I'm kinda confused.

Anyone know where in the light this part is at? I'm really invested and want to continue

It's kind of funny to see a story like this where HP acts in a game-like manner where you can take a headshot/heart-stab and not necessarily die from it, vs just being an easy way to show how much danger someone's in.

@BalrogDeMorgoth probably as much as the game itself. attack on head or heart are most often critical but not always mortal. the bandit didn't even think bout the mc being alive probably because he not fighting back. so they conclude that the critical attack also a mortal attack.
