@KazutoKatsuragi here's where the bandits start raping her before he can intervene or something (or she is otherwise traumatized,) his plan falls apart, and it's all his fault for trying to manipulate her, whatever his reason for doing so.

Also, his plan is expressly to traumatize her to break the brainwashing. From a meta perspective it was the game's creators setting it up that way for a tragedy/romance the players can witness. From a meta meta perspective, the author is using that as an excuse for the emotionally detached literal slave to be taken around to the hero's side not because he convinces her to change or that he is genuine and worth believing in, but because she was just brainwashed all along. What great character development for her.

@Fussion007 This manga hasn't shown any signs of that happening. I assume his plan is to save her while showing his power. She assumes that he's a weak character who is just after her body. But he wants a squad that he can train. The MC isn't scummy like that, you must be reading some sick shit to jump to such conclusions.
If you happen to be right, the only thing I can think of is they changed authors halfway through.

Like when he's training Sylvia, a lot of these things are normal for these people, but i think only the mc has the status screen. Probably also rare to find someone with a high level, that isn't also armed like they are.
