The first volumes have really bad drama, childish and romantizing views of jealousy, buuuut... the last ones are really nice! I liked them a lot and the plot starts to move around their life choices, instead of the rapist, abusive characters that the author used in some parts. Usually the last parts go down the drain, but this one redeemed itself at least.

Just one time I hope to read a manga where the foreigner doesn't greet everyone with a kiss on the cheek. And that someone would comment on it cause they see it all the time in manga and anime, and said foreigner can respond with a "well yeah, to my friends and family. I don't just go around kissing total strangers on cheeks, that's creepy."

I mean sure he ended up being a creep in the end, but it's still a tired trope I wish they'd stop using.
