So I was reading the raw and while it isn't said, seems like she been ghosting him for a year not just recently that's why he want to leave party suddenly since he's been ghosted and doesn't understand why
And what that hero dude saying is true. They did have sexual relationship although the childhood friend is being drugged to comply, then the childhood friend back to her sense after the receptionist clear up the misunderstanding, and realize she is being duped by the hero.
Then the mc came back, the childhood friend beg him to take her back, however the mc noticed she had a hickey(from previous drugged sex with the hero) he lash out and tell her, she left him to die in the forest and still in the end he choose the hero instead of him and from now on he will trust no one and do everything alone.

I initially compared this to Ori of the dragon chain but this… so so so so so so much worse. What the fuck was any of that? Just talk to each other for fucks sake and literally everything would’ve been explainable. Then we introduce an outlandishly evil “hero” to cuck the mc and rape the girl. This is trash. And not even good trash.

Why the hell did that girl even have a sexual relationship to begin with? Most women would've left that trash after the first rape. Is it some kind of brainwashing drug that makes her forget all about it? The drug can't be making her fall in love with the trash hero, because she's still clearly in love with mc.
Damn. I hit the depression and suffering lottery on this one. I went into this thinking this would be typical generic trash, but everything I've seen here tells me this is going to be much, much worse.

The first time might just be the hero boasting about what he would do to the Childhood friend but have sex with her later after they abandoned him on the forest (the story is all mess after all) but it's shown after the incident the hero pour a drink with the drug to the childhood friend, and later the MC notice there is a hickey on her neck, which might suggest she do it with the hero(though this being such a trash there might other explanation idk)

The girl is stupid for not bothering to clear up the misunderstanding, but isn't the also mc kinda at fault here for leaving his childhood friend for an entire year? Unless he actually did explain it clearly to the friend, who wouldn't have some doubts if someone just leaves with another girl for an entire year? Even if he comes back to the childhood friend frequently during that year, he's still just leaving with another girl over and over again.
It would have been more believable if the hero did have sex with the childhood friend. But seeing her on that banner and knowing this is Japan, I'm guessing they'll make some stupid/convoluted explanation to keep her a virgin.
Edit: Never mind. Someone else posted spoilers in the manga comments. There really is no saving the childhood friend. The girl is fucked. Both literally and figuratively.

But since I'm already here replying and reading spoilers from others, I'd thought I'd try and answer, rather that having you wait hours for a reply.
It seems like the hero doesn't stop being a complete asshole until
the demon lord is defeated and the hero isn't needed anymore.; the hero is struggling to find a place in the world that doesn't need him anymore.
It seems the author is trying to make us feel sorry for the hero by giving him a sad backstory about his first love and having a broken heart. If you've read Another World by Yuzuki N Dash, you have an idea where this is going. Although I'm not sure if there's going to be incest involved in this one lol

I don't find that an excuse but I get the authors want to redeem the villains they made to evil.
In that case do you know about the childhood friend and if they are freed from the hero or if they give him pity because his first love didn't like him and after being horrible he needs help or some bs?

The story actually haven't got that far, it just mc survive this incident in few hours directly confront the former party at the guild and then lash out at them including her childhood friend bringing back the wolf corpse for them to show his capability and went out of the party.
Also sorry, I think I might be wrong about ghosting him for year it might not be that long, since I was reading using Google lens, he might be saying something along the line of "we know each other for years but for no reason you suddenly doesn't talk to me and I don't even know why"
As for the hero and childhood friend

Don't know they did the deed or not, it just hinted because of a hickey mark on her neck and the girl didn't say anything when the mc lash out at her, might indicate she is doing it(though this being so bad there might be explanation like the hero assault her but she had enough control or something before they did the deed), and if you wondering after that incident there is no remark from the hero whether she had been conquested or something

the hero did rape her and later found out she is pregnant, thought she seems pretty broken after this, and somehow her womb is being used to groom a hybrid human and demon body or something, and later give birth to a girl, which she took care of but never loved

I'll be honest and say that I've never heard of Ore Trauma before, until you mentioned it here. Reading Ore Trauma spoilers just left me in awe of just how bad things are in that one. It's like beating a small puppy for the luz.
I've never read trauma/depression porn that wasn't some really short hentai, so this is my first experience with something like this. What in the world did I get myself into? lol
