I mean I agree that's good that she can be a teacher but let's not forget about the fact that she cockblocked this very same girl during the cultural festival :kek:
AND she gave her the advice of "don't confess your feelings" as seen in the flashback in this chapter lmao

Man, sensei is so hopeless in almost every way, but I cant help but love the character.

Thanks for the translation. I'm pretty sure the text on page 5 should say "...Should I make her give up once and for all?", since she's talking about Iiko. (Also this is a minor gripe, but I've never been a fan of using "semester" when talking about Japanese school terms, since a semester is a period of six months and a school term is 3 months, but I guess in America you guys don't think about that and just use it as a synonym.)
I dont know for sure, but I think the "Should I make him give up once and for all" on page 5 should actually be "her."

Edit: nvm sorry didnt see Joka1410 mention it above.
Fixed page 5.
Changed "semester" to "term" as well. Not even sure why I used that when I use "term" myself.
Thanks for pointing those out! :salute:

Girl what you're thinking of is BSS(Boku ga Saki ni Suki datta no ni/But I liked them first)

On a more important note, Sensei really showing why, despite all her delusions, she's a genuinely good teacher.
On the most popular English-language sites for "pink-brained" manga, BSS is typically tagged as netorare (NTR) because it tends to hit a lot of the same notes even if the specifics aren't the same.

"An unmatched big melon enjoyer" please don't ever (mis)translate like that ever again.
also "If you confess and spill the beans, you lose your dreams" like bro
Look, I'm fine with some stuff like "bottle up your feelings", but zoomer memes/slang and adages do bother me.

Huh? Aren't those pretty straightforward sentences? As a millennial they don't come across as weird slang at all.

Irosaki's heart is always in the right place.

I mean sure it doesn't always pump blood to her brain, which leads to her delusions, but she's always been trying to do the best for her students.

The first one is very much the same in the raws, if you're talking about the "unmatched big melon" part. The only thing I'd nitpick there would be the "愛好家" which translates to fan/lover/enthusiast/devotee/aficionado as per online dictionaries, but I'd argue "enjoyer" pretty much means the same.
Second line is from waaay back in Chapter 3. Thinking on it now, I'd probably change it to "you fess up, you mess up." So, I'll get on that another time. Thanks for pointing that out :win:

Student: begins spiralling into self-loathing

Sensei: "BEGONE MOUSOU! Pedagogy time!"

She locks in when push comes to shove.
