@shoker : it wouldn't be the first time an author would add another volume because he wanted more space for the ending.

If I'm remember right, around volume 17 the author of Dorohedoro wanted the 20th volume to be the last, but finally it took 23 volumes.

I would be quite disapointed if it ended too abruptly, and 30 chapters is quite short

@freshlypicked @Enyss While I don't know when precisely they said it, back during the haitus after volume 6 the author said that volume 7 would be the final volume, so while volume 7 might end up being longer than the others, I don't think there's a lot of hope for a volume 8 since by that point in time I expect the author would have a good understanding as to when the story would end.
