I'm going to be more optimistic than that, if the mascot did indeed say it was useless for boys.

I'm curious how much of the LGBTQ language was in the original text but... at the same time, it absolutely wouldn't surprise me. Every manhua I've read has been very "subtext is for cowards". Often that leads to them being pretty cringe-y in different ways, but I guess the door swings the other way too where a spade gets called a spade.
