Very cool he's now assigning all his mage friends to work that doesn't make use of their skills because he only knows and brought mages with him so has no one else to do it. I'm gonna called horse shit on Lutz saying he's more busy than he was in the Kingdom when Dorothea said he was basically half dead every time she saw him. Also we haven't been shown him doing anything at all. He's been there for like three days where he's done three things. Kill some monsters, killed a witch, and saw a boar.
It feels hard to be invested in this series. There's basically no direction or overarching story/themes. Every arc seemingly only last 3 chapters at most. Every problem and their impacts gets shown for like three panels before proceeding to solving them so none of them feel like they have any stakes. Attachment to characters feels unearned as they have little depth to them, relying mostly on you being familiar with other similar archetypes. Fina has a cute design with a clumsy but competent character traits but we basically know nothing about her. Rooting for her feels less about Fina and more about her traits as you've no doubt seen countless characters with those same traits played out before. This isn't just Fina though it's all of the characters.
There's also no real sense of time passing so it feels like the story is being rushed through.
