thanks for the chapter. I wonder if the author was planning on another arc? or maybe he misjudged how long the ending would take and needed to fill up the rest of the tankoubon. 5 chapters seems like an awkward number to end with

Kek, the girl inadvertently made herself a target. Seems like we are close to the end, timeskip a bit with scheming guy rebelling and straight up getting a couple of the newcomers or all of them killed? The state gonna thank them in the end by taking them back to mainland as their go to punisher?

I think he did the same thing in suicide island actually so it might just be a thing he does. No spoilers btw but I peeked ahead and this gets resolved in like 2 chs. If I remember right that was how it was with I think Kai was his name? Basically new villain out of nowhere and it took 5 chs to set up everything and kill him after the whole story was about the main villain which is just Jimbo but better.
