Mixed feelings about this ending as well as this side story as a whole.
I'm glad that Gye's life is better, and that she managed to become the kind of person that she always wanted to be, but so much about this ending feels rushed and forced. Everything involving the side characters was effectively tossed aside, and were really under utilized once Gye hooked up with bf. Also I feel like there was a lot more story potential when it came to her parents and their potential dynamic with bf, but instead that story just ends with her dad saying it's fine for them to live together.

Not saying this series needed to go as far as to show Gye married and with kids, but for a slice of life series like this with 200+ I do think a time skip epilogue would have served as a better way to end it, compared to ending it with Gye and bf going to sleep.

Not really sure how I'd rate this series, but I'd definitely place the main story above this side story. Even this side story I thought was doing fine before the Goodbye Cliffville arc, where its ending just felt really rushed.

I guess there's always the possibility that the author chose to end the series this way so that there's much to explore if they ever chose to return to it.
