You know if this was our world even the clearly idiotic woman could sue the Hero. It's basically his fault that such a lie is being taken as truth and it's to the point that it's impacting the government. Someone that took out a loan and gambled based on his lies would have grounds for a civil lawsuit and could probably win with how widespread it is. There might even be a federal case against him with how much actual and damage his lies are causing on a national level.
