This story feels like such a crazy mess lol. Nothing to do with the translations either, just the way the chapters are going with visuals and such in general
I feel you. Up to chapter 40-ish it was relatively OK. Maybe not the best, but OK. Maybe story itself wasn't that well written nor intriguing but at least it was making some sense. And then... I dunno, something happened and it's getting worse and worse. Ever since story introduced this merchant companies plot and this "woo-hoo reincarnator ark device ultimate going back plan" of that annoying glasses dude (yeah, I for the life of me I cannot remember it anymore) it's just a royal mess. Like what was that about attaching this head merchant wife to this pipe-device "for a punishment" 10 or so chapters ago? Or this random insert about raping him when he was still child? What's the point of doing such panels if it's just one-off without further explanation or significance to overall story?
It all resembles just random talking here and there, with seemingly random events happening all the time. I'm still reading it but despite going back to re-read previous chapters I'm starting to understand less and less. The story at this point is just inconsistent as hell.
Oh, we have another merchants.
Oh, MC is kneeling in front of some random asshole for god know why reason instead of killing him and his entire organization he caoud do in a flash.
Oh, we have beastmen on some random meeting
Oh, annoying glasses dude tells Liz to go with beasts because why not- why she's communicating with him and since when? And with what?
Oh, the beastmen attacked castle and kidnapped Liz
Oh, Liz i talking to MC about rescuing Liz (?!!!!)
Oh, we have some random loli saint
Oh, the dragons arrived
Oh, the dragon king arrived
Oh, miss hero arrived
Oh, she wants to fight dragon king for god know what reason
I get that unpleasant feeling that this 1 chapter was created from like 20 novel chapters or some bizzare number like that and as the result something that made perfect sense and had good pacing in the novel here doesn't make any because the gaps are so wide the story isn't coherent with itself anymore.
