I too enjoyed the spoiled noble getting his comeuppances, very nice.

Sorry I wanted to go a chapter with out this but
I saw this problem pop up in overlord fiend as well. 'I can't exchange the gold.' ARGGG!!! There is a reason why gold became so popular as money... It's FUNGIBLE!!! One bit of gold is as good as the last. Now you might say, 'what about the politics [or whatever] of the coin face.' Then I'd say 'Then deface it!' or melt it or whatever. That's why gold is so awesome as money. You'd take a hit value wise but it would totally be worth it! Gold is soft and easy to melt.

@nunyab69 In MC's case, it's not the coin face, it's the gold itself - as a villager, the fact that he has gold at all puts him under suspicion of theft, that's just how that world is

With his logic of being unable to exchange anything for money, because they think a villager cant have wealth, then having the gold coins to make transactions will warrant the same reaction. The situation doesn't make any sense nor does it leave a way out. A catch 22 for his money issue.

Oh wait.. the mc said he thinks of the hero girl as if she were a daughter/niece/etc ... the dragon girl might end up the ship that sets sail... :(

That goes off the rail of how such a world would function. You can't have your magicky occupation dictate everything. There is always money that can buy power or influence no matter the previous status.
There is also some idiocy, no one should know his status unless he shows them a card which says 'Villager'...

Ya'll, that ring flash on page 5 was too sly and too funny. Lilith is straight up staking her claim on this man.

This manga is so full of ass pull plot elements. Not being able to use his gold? There's no way a merchant would refuse the gold, unless he was certain it was connected to a crime in the very same city and thus the merchant would have a very high chance of being accused of associating with a criminal. A merchant's job is to make money, so he would be glad to exchange the dragon gold coins to smaller demoninations if he got a commission fee. It's like the author doesn't know how business works.

Another thing is the 10-15 years limit that suddenly appeared out of nowhere to serve the plot so magnificently. It's hilarious. Imagine a scene:

Slave trader: "Slaves, don't even think about fleeing. If you don't receive magic from your owner for 10-15 years, you will die."
Slaves: "Did you say 10-15 years, sir?"
Slave trader: "That's right! Fleeing is useless!"
Slaves: "Adios, asshole! We'd be lucky to live 15 years as slaves, so better spend that time as free persons!"

Masochist loli? Cant get better than that.

Also the gold exchange issue is one of the most moronic plot devices Ive ever read. It was easier to just say he had none.

Didn't that just get rid of the whole point of him getting reborn? He got skills completely for the sake of the heroine, did he not? He said he would come back to her after those few years, did he not? After those five years, he saves her and just leaves her alone again, telling her that he'll save her 'each and every time in his own way.' Also, wouldn't saving the heroine every time she's in danger kind of make him a stalker?

This is the point where this manga fell apart. The gold coins stupidity, the nonsensical bias against villagers when no one would think he was a villager, the fact that he built up all that strength to then just not use it, the fact that he just ignored the hero after saying he’d train her, and the unnecessary drama about the slave collar...the plot just went off the rails.

Why does he not know the rules? your telling me neither of them read about slave seals in the dragon tribes giant library, or that Ryuuto hasn't read about them using the "Wisdom" skill?
