No, but I asked for permission to use their brand as a translation group in a thread (I think it was yellow dawn's release thread) and MM said that would be "based". So I guess I'm the loosely official MM scanlation group.

They're generally ok with fan content as well, in AMA 2 they mention that they liked being included into angry goy 2, and would like to see their characters used in more places by fans.

The staff (or at least certain members) made it clear that they're unabashed leftists around the time of Saint Floyd's death-by-fentanyl; at the very least, they wanted to give money to the cause of the street bandits. Such types tend not to have an eye toward logic and fairness, only emotion and bias.

EDIT: By the way, I will take a page from Soluna's book and thank you for working on S-rank Behemoth--Aria is lovely, it's far too frequent that one finds stories with outstandingly appealing girls and interesting stories being cast to the wayside by scanlators for far less interesting works. One group did so to Shinmai Maou no Keiyakusha, while loading up on battle academy harem manga (of which one and only one was worth reading--and they're still dragging their feet on it, as well) that were largely interchangeable.

@mmscans: I must also give them credit where it is due--where nothing political is concerned, I've seen nothing but just behavior from them; they even came down on some leftist scanlator who was breaking the rules because people didn't want to put up with his injections of political activism and his own humor into his productions. Regarding freedom of speech, I do remember that my criticisms--direct as they were--regarding the matter were left alone (whether or not others can say the same, I don't remember). Even so, they did--in the very same announcement--both mandate that the site be kept free of politics (i.e., significantly so) and later subtly invite readers to donate to rioter bail funds.

It's that behavior that led me to be wary of them.
