@Valve I mean, he was weak shit, he just didn't know that he got real strong from the virtual world and it carries to the real world.
Also, one gotta eat, and eating requires money, if he didn't get that VR gear, he probably would have to live that kind of miserable life until he died, which is pretty depressing but ya know, life.

@zokoi19 He supports his family ....All the things his brat sister has he brought so it’s not that he is desperate just that the amount he has to raise for his sister and mom is high....
I still can’t help but think it’s weird they live in separate buildings because it’s partly a needless expense...The pay is decent even at his rank it’s just you know supporting them and it’s the only option he has to get by...he never finished his education ....Basicially nothing else I suppose

Look, the whole "eating" thing is metaphor (clearly, I was not clear enough with that) for the fact that living requires money. I know that he needs to support his family, thank you captain obvious. When his sister grows up and get a decent job, she can support his mother with him or hell, even without him. Even so, he will still have to work to live and since his education is, for all we know, not good enough to make a living, he will have to do the hunter job, or do other labor work.
No matter how you look at it, it is a pretty depressing way of life. Forever stuck in one place without hope of ever going up, or moving somewhere else. However, thanks to the VR and the power it gives him, he won't have to live that way anymore, aren't I right?

Anyway I am not disagreeing I am just adding that the money issues he is having are needlessly more expensive then they need to be by the looks of things by looking at the sister it seems their is no struggle...It’s difficult to gauge tho because we only got reality as reference but it doesn’t seem that advance if we forget the VR...

@Manofthehour It's pretty fucking obvious he's going to notice that's he's a lot stronger irl and ranked up as a hunter and is going to retrieve that capsule to go back into the game and level up again - only question is where is he going to be in the game.

As I thought he's still a fucking idiot. Just because he loves the murim world more than his own, he feels guilty about it because of his mom and sister he vowed to support? They don't seem to care too much about him since he's risking his life and got many of his friends killed btw in dungeons while they don't even contact him much. His brother in the murim world seems way more concerned. Be it fake or real doesn't really matter since time goes way slower in that world anyway. He doesn't have to abandon anything in pratice. Ditacted by his feelings, an idiot as always, he just doesn't learn.
