One has just become an adult and is still a teenager btw, and one is past the mid-twenties point, huge imbalance. 18 years old are kids, my baby brother is 18 and I'm 23, I can never imagine seeing his friends as anything other than immature kids.

My mom and dad have a 9 year gap, iirc he met my mother when she literally just graduated highschool and work to support her 2 little siblings because my mom's mother don't have money to put those 2 at school. My dad was around 29 when he married my mom.
