well, maybe the detective will figure things out tho not sure how helpful it is if they're dealing with a literal demon rather than just an unhinged woman
And, her mom might think she's "crazy" but at this point i'd have some kinda precaution/tell her what happened like, "I'm going to draw something for you, ask me to draw it the exact same way next time" or some kinda 'code word" so ppl know unless she's able to read thoughts/actually also absorb the memories of the ppl she's taken over before
Tho, i wonder, if miu's mom actually called her out, like "you're not my daughter, who are you?!" if there'd be some kinda backlash or her panicking and killing the mom too

I like how the story still didn't make anything concrete. We don't know what the doppelganger's motivation is, or whether she's out to harm the main character or not. So far, she's been a freaky ass demon wearing Miu's skin, yes, but she doesn't seem to have any murderous intent... yet. I don't doubt that she'd kill MC at a moment's notice, I'm just not sure how it'd get handled. Thanks for the translation, this has been a great read so far.

well, it does say 'supernatural' so maybe if she is some literal skin wearer rather than stealing her identity (tho there is that discrepancy with the scars unless the demonic side of her can 'heal' stuff), maybe she just "has" to change bodies every few years or so (translation seems to be caught up with the raws, tho idk if it's based on a novel, so pretty much everyone's in the dark. although i wonder how common there are for forum posts/theories posted on the JP side of the readerbase)I like how the story still didn't make anything concrete. But it def does seem like something that could be made into an ova or live action movie lol
Even having read this author's previous work, "Ship of Theseus" (which I STRONGLY recommend) and knowing his writing style and habits, I really can't seem to predict what would happen, but I know it's just going to be shocking when the revelation comes. This mangaka loves to throw in a red herring or two in his stories, so I'm just mentally preparing myself for the possibility that maybe Miu IS telling the truth, and that she just so happens to be a creepy pervert who's obsessive about Ai...
Also while we're at it, since Ai is already in the hospital I do hope that she can get her body checked. How many buttons have Miu put in her at this point? :/

Hey, thanks for the recommendation. Ship of Theseus was a banger. Too bad it seems like no one'e translating it anymore though.
Yeah, unfortunately the translating team dropped it very early on, which is a shame, because the later half was super good imo (I read it in mandarin). I've seen the news of K manga finally adding it to the catalogue so it should be picked up again in the near future!
