I had a theory that she would somehow deep down, dislike the killing and the hurting she did to others. Crying as she would have to please her animalistic instincts, but I'm not sure what the hell I'm witnessing in the previous chapters. Is he one of them now? What makes this guy so different and why is he having the visions? She clearly notices something about him that differintiates him from the other victims and thats why she keeps him alive. Though the interesting part is that the paracites seem to send a poison into his brain signalising that what he is looking at, namely the Queen is not a threat. He was fearing for his life and now we might see the start on how he hopelessly walks the path of lifeturning love we read from the summary. Maybe he'll start to go against his friends, maybe they will get to close to the center of the fire and get burnt.
The loss of word and expressions he makes as he tries to wrap his mind around it is very good.
I can't wait for more!
