@Kisato That's a very accurate and succinct explanation. I can confirm that you can miss super obvious stuff when hyper-focusing on something, like forgetting to eat the food in front of you while working (which I have done before).
I think it would be neat of the golem was something like a mech suit that can be used without magic capability and used by construction workers, like the mech in Aliens that Ripply uses to fight the queen.
@Tomahawk58
I know, right? I expected him to do a somersault and then fly while doing a Russian squat dance to the finish line. Totally ruined the manga for me. 1/10. Dropped.
For Pete's sake, why would anyone care about that?
Thanks for the chapter.
The manga is getting quite boring in this arc.
With the previous arcs at least we had some nice interactions with the 2 heroines. This arc has the 3 kids but they are barely characters and are there just to provide context for the reader.
That turn basically assured him of the win. His method of propelling himself was extremely well suited for sharp turns, which meant all he had to do was get the timing right.
I find Arel to be an incredibly boring character. Not only is he capable of prevailing in every situation, he has essentially no personality. It's really hard for me to care about him.
@tuatara1
He's capable because of ridiculous hard work; his personality basically is 'hard work'. That's pretty much all he is. I think it's fair to find that boring.😉
