You should save yourself the wait and just watch the anime, it's like 10 15 chapters ahead of the manga and it's better (because it moves and talks and what not)

I used to just read the manga too but I just finished the anime last month and I think it's a better way to do mushoku tensei now 🤷‍♂️

Reading manga is faster than having to sit down and watch 20 minutes of something. If I had to watch an anime version of every manga I read then I wouldn't have any time in my day to do other things.

You are misunderstanding something. It's not the same time investment because this story isn't the only one I want to read and I'm fine with just reading a little bit every once in a while. If I really cared that much about it I could just read the LN and finish the whole thing but, like I said, this isn't the only story I care about. I don't want to just binge one story like its a Netflix show, it leaves little room for memory retention and thought experiment. I actively enjoy only reading a little bit of like 10 different manga and then reflecting and thinking about them over the course of a few days. It's like the difference between cramming and having actual study habits. Also I need time in my life to do actual real life shit.

What you are talking about all comes down to your own culture, life-style, and view of things, for some people love and sex are so separate that they know it doesn't matter how many their SO has sex with, because they know their SO only has love for their SO and no one else.

On the other hand, you have those that view sex and love basically as strongly interconnected, so much so that you should only ever have sex with the person you love, no one else, and if you have sex with someone else that means you no longer love your SO.

In the case of Zenith and - I forget his name... - her husband, they are basically on complete opposite ends of the spectrum from each other, Zenith is very religious in her views of sex, love and marriage, where she believes you should only ever have sex with the one you love and plan to marry - I forget if she had him wait until they were married before she let him have sex with her or not.

While he didn't really care about all of that, to him sex was just sex, while love was something entirely separate and something I think only Zenith was able to make him feel. To him, sex was just a means to relieve his frustrations and have fun, nothing more. It wasn't until after he married Zenith that he started doing his best to control himself and remain faithful to Zenith despite having sex with only one person was entirely against who he was as a person, and then he inevitably ended up failing to stay faithful once one of his previous sexual companions (maid) - reluctant on her part, as I believe I remember she was against it at first, but then just reluctantly accepted it - from their adventuring days came to live with them as their maid.

He obviously betrayed Zenith, and what he did was obviously wrong, we're likely not disagreeing on that part, where we seem to disagree is when it comes to whether him having had sex with someone else is a sign of little love for Zenith or not, I'm of the mind that it changes nothing in terms of how much he loved Zenith, that he loved Zenith immensely before he had sex with the maid, and loved Zenith just as much as before, and even more so because she decided to forgive him and give him a chance to prove himself a changed man.

Paul hadn't made advances towards Lilia except for the occasional gropes, which she resisted.
Lilia's own needs had grown more and more over the years.
Lilia seduced Paul to satisfy her own needs.

Paul hadn't been allowed to have sex with Zenith during her second pregnancy, because of this, his lust had grown more and more, and during this time, he had snuck into Lilia's room in the middle of the night.
The day after the meeting, Lilia is inner monologuing about how she had her needs, and how hearing their moans every night, and cleaning their room that smelled of man, and seeing Paul sword train had all made it too much for her to bear, so she had purposely seduced Paul into having sex with her to relieve her own needs. While she had not intended this when first moving in as a maid, she had always had feelings for Paul and, over time, this had only grown.
She also inner monologues about how, when they were younger and training in a training hall, Paul had snuck into her room at night and taken her by force, that while she didn't dislike him at the time, she certainly didn't love him, and had cried at first. But then a fat noble had made advances on her later, and that put things in perspective of how much things had been better with Paul.

And then 6 years later, when she heard Paul was hiring a maid, she used what he had done to her in her favor during negotiations.
In that time, Paul had really developed into a fine man, according to Lilia's comment "the last 6 years had certainly been kind to him." Paul hadn't made advances towards her in the beginning, though he would sneak in the occasional grope of her, which she could resist at first, but she was fully aware that she was walking a thin line.

I'm single, but thank you for thinking I was in a relationship.
That aside, your entire complain is directed at Zenith, and I don't think you meant for that.
