yes and no. Sylphy will be pretty okay with it but his one sister is gonna have issues with it for a # of reasons

Rudeus is just a scumbag. All they had to do was not cheer him up with sex. Just have Roxy comfort him, hold him even, but the second it becomes "cheating on my wife to cheer up from my dad dying" it makes it impossible to respect.
I guess you didnt pay attention on the part that they did that but nothing was working, zrudeus was just getting worse and not eating and not leaving the room for anything.
It was comming to a point that the rest of the party couldnt just eait for Rudeus to move on withbtheir lives as well...
This is one chPter in. long time that I feel thr adaptation was just worse... both in the anime and manga.

Just go read the A pair of 2+ translation, it's a quick Google search away and they have up to chapter 117 done. I'm unable to directly link though, against the rules.

I've just noticed there's a non-zero chance that they'll come back to MangaDex I suspect in a few day's time for reasons outside of their control. I'm saying this here now because if they did then inevitably there would be some knuckle-dragging mouth breather who would comment, claiming it's because of this guy uploading translations. That's irrelevant.

He is the transport method, he could get them back in a few days instead of months and the 'months' estimation is if he was walking and travelling at normal speeds, if they had to drag, carry or otherwise cajole him back it'd be infinitely harder.

You're not wrong, but you have to remember the novels for this series were the template for the Isekai formula long before all the copycats came along. This is one of the original "harem fantasy in another world" stories, it probably just feels out of place to you because you didn't know it was coming/the harem wasn't a speedrun distilled down to a couple volumes like in other series.

There are multiple Manga, were infidelity of Women is also ok.
You just have to read the right genre.
If you only read Shounen or Seinen, you won't find them regularly. But if you read Shoujo and especially Josei, then you will find that concept somewhat common.

The problem was, only Rudy could unlock the way forward.
The teleportation gate has a barrier which only Rudy could unlock (as Elinalise isn't that versed in magic), and they can't reveal the secret of the teleportation gate to anyone else.
Plus to reach the gate it would take over a month of travelling through a monster infested desert, not something you can do if you are not mentally stable. Especially if you have a handicapped person and a few non-combatants along with you as well.
If they tried to avoid those stuff, it would take over a year to reach back home.
Yeah, they could have waited for Rudy to normally recover somewhat, but that would only have bottled-up the issue inside him, which even Slyphe might have failed at solve.
Not to forget, delaying anymore might have plotwise caused Rudy to miss his child's birth.
The main point is that, Rudy had a hard time recovering because he got hit bad on two sides, aka., his father died while protecting him and his mother is practically disabled. So, there was no one close their to support him. And in such case a person, especially men feel far more alone than what others might think.
If Zenith had been ok, then Rudy wouldn't have suffered so bad.
On another note, if you consider wars in the olden days, it was common for soldiers (even married), to turn to prostitute (or even outright rape) to get over or divert attention from their trauma aka., PTSD, they got because of killing people. If I say, this might even apply in current era as well.
