Am I crazy to remember Roxy not knowing he was married yet in the LNs?

Also, just to be clear on the cheating outrage: there's plenty of degeneracy in this series, to be sure, but do keep in mind that Sylphie explicitly told Rudeus that she'd accept him having a second wife (at least in the LNs). Rudeus knows that she won't get mad. Monogamy is somewhat uncommon in that world.

Now thats not true.

Sure polygamy that is not uncommon, but more or less monogaminis quite the majority especially because Milis religion has a kot of influence around the world.

What I think is "why are they all saying and agreeing that he should just sleep with someone? They all know he's married, yet are all ok with it. This is stupid." So i'm not blaming Rudeus, or even Roxy, i'm blaming the crap writing. And also Rudeus and Roxy.

Because as per the lore, polygamy or having paid sex isn't that odd (even for married individuals), especially for Adventurers or Dungeon Explorers, since they stay away from home for months or years.

Also, Monogamy is strictly followed by only a small percentage of people of One Religion (aka., Millis), and no one else follows it or thinks about it much.
Neither Sylphe or Rudy follow that Religion (even though Zenith & Norn do).

So, Rudy doing it to get over emotional turmoil isn't considered odd, as its known norm.
