Nanahoshi is experiencing what I would experience if I got isekaid, at least at the beginning of my trip. I mean, I have always hated how reincarnates simply don't mind about their family, they're all conveniently without family or love, I'd like more characters that would struggle with the idea of not being able to see their loved ones anymore. Sure a new world would be exciting, but is it worth the trade of your family and friends? I don't think I'd want that and most people honestly.

The concept of isekai is ideal for people who (sorry) don't have any friends at all in real life, or even when their own family turned their backs againts them. To spice things up, if those people don't have a satisfaction life with failures and problems all over the place, it's understandable for them to have expectations of getting isekaied asap, hoping that their new life can be different. I can see your point tho, leaving everything behind without certainty that your new world can offer something better than your previous world is a gambling indeed.
