So i came here from the printed LN and i have i few questions.

Spoiler: quite a spoilery questions

Does Paul rape Lilia in the manga too? Does Rudy care at least for someone except himself or his penis (not in words but in action, please if you can give example of this action)? Does anyone in the story actually call out Rudy on the fact that literally 90% of the problems he has are because he’s a moron who doesn't learn anything without being 'corrected' by different characters who say things like 'he's not to blame,' 'he was doing all he could' (actually fucking lies)?

Both of us know that this is just comedy relief, both of us know that this light novel was writed many years ago, and back 20 years ago many things that today are taboo weren't. Jokes about rape, pedos and homophobia were super normal. We don't need to comeback 20 years, I'm positive 10 years ago things were like that.

I can understand a person not liking this kind of jokes, what draws my attention is people that don't want others to like this jokes. I not talking about you, but if you just read this commetns you'll find that most of the hate is from people that are basically saying "You can't enjoy this manga because the humor offends me".

Its a fictional manga, about a fictional character in a fictional world. Its no meant to be taken literal, no one thinks that its normal for a 40y guy to get atracted to 5 year old girls or have sex with a dunno, she was 12y? Anyway the manga isn't even trying to show that as something you should do, is just humor. It's the old and over used cliche about the horny old man. He's horny about 5y children just as much as he's horny about he's mom. It's this weird? Yeah, but only if you take this serious, it's meant to be a joke, if is not funny to you thats totally understandable, but the point is, why you make a wall of text to try to convince someone not read something just because YOU don't think its funny? Theres people that just say "this makes me unconfortable, I'm out". But most of people here are trying to convince people not to read, and this happens more with this manga than a lot of other mangas with bizarre stuff like gate or nanatsu.

Joke in question: Rudeus is genuinely surprised that he didn’t get hard from his little sister’s pantsu (because she’s his family), and this is portrayed as character growth.
PS: This is from the LN so i'm not quite sure if this happened in manga

o god you're disgusting, it doesn't matter if that "humor" was acceptable or even normal 10 years ago. It was still disgusting, just like slavery was objectively bad, 40y old men saying "huh, that minor is pretty hot" IS NOT OKAY. Just no. And I genuinely liked this and ignored most of Rudeus' BS until he married blue haired what's her name. Like, I'm usually not ok with mcs TRYING to build harems like this, but this was even worse than usual.

People are complaining about the School arc, while I daresay argue that arc is crucial because that's where he met and forged some of his life-long bonds which would become his strength/supports later in life; Zenoba, Cliff, Nanahosi, Ariel, Luke, Pursena, Linia, Juliette, etc.

This is a parallel to our school/university, moreso since Rudy never had a chance to do it before in his previous life. The main contrast between the School arc in Mushoku and other Isekai is that the latter never goes anywhere, while the former is but a phase.

A bunch of stupid quibbling about the minutiae of whether or not Rudeus is a relatively moral person in his relatively moral circumstances when the story is about how he was a shitheel who grows to be less of a piece of shit over time relative to how he was when the story began. If he wasn't a waste of flesh when the story began then his growing as a person into less of a piece of shit would have no value.
