I thought the deadline on 12 and I realized detective-san use American system.

Yeah, the deadline is not until 2 more weeks. That should let more people participate. For those who are still in school, they should be done with the semester by then. A good time to start the tournament. It also gives people plenty of time to pick and choose their submissions.

I'm actually surprised no one chose Watamote. It's a good song. But to be honest, it would be a better submission for your 3.5 tournament, because the visual presentation is very innovative.

So, a couple of things:

• I have decided to require everyone to use the full version of the ending song. Please fix your submissions' link if you have the short version. Unless your submission only has a short version. If you don't fix this before the deadline I will choose a different link for your submission myself when the tournament starts.
• Since we have more submissions that I anticipated, I will change the format a bit: instead of choosing the best 4, we will choose the best 6. This means everyone will vote for the best 6 songs in each group. As of right now, we have 18 participants, and possibly more. So, assuming we still have 18 when the tournament starts, that's 108 songs in total.

Round 1: 108 songs in 8 groups, 12-13 each.
Round 2: 48 songs in 4 groups, 12 each.
Round 3: 24 songs in 2 groups, 12 each.
Final round: 12 songs in 1 group, best 6 win.

This might or might not change if we have even more people joining in. Let's wait and see how many we have in total. The more the merrier, no? More good songs to listen to, and higher chance for your submissions to advance.

Devour really got banned forever, huh? Well, if they want to come back, they can always make a new account.

i think this is a good change, pitting short and long versions against each other would've been inconsistent

just a heads up that i switched one of my submissions. post 1 and post 2 are both edited with the new one. i originally submitted the short version of my nonfiction, but with only the full version being admissible now i changed my mind
