I'm fairly sure he stole them from someone? And is talking about trying them on someone (unsure if he means to wear them himself and make a boy fall in love with him, or if he means to put them on someone and fall in love himself.

No idea what that final panel with the girl is meant to mean, as the "it" is unspecified and ambiguous. And so is whatever she is complaining about with "why me". Maybe she is asking why he is telling her, when she doesn't like occultism/urban love legend or theft.

You're right, the way he's holding it is not very phone-like, on second glance. Well, so much for Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery of the Tights here. Have an easier time with the Rosetta Stones at this rate.

What the fuck. My friend shared to me this doujin and I see this doujin is a cute one. I do like it but I understand why my friend is confused by the last page, which is "Why me, I don't even like it"
It was a mis-translation.

The original phrase in Japanese (origial raw) is "なんで私で、試そうで思わないのよ。。。”
Which is "Why did you didn't think about testing it (the kneesock experiment) on ME".
Hope it resolve the confusion.
