I mean, yeah she doesn't have to worry about accidentally blowing someone up, but if the "a few drinks in" level of emotional instability this demonization seems to produce in her has her in this much social linked angst, just being a demon has obviously been enough to hamper her happiness in the past, and not just when she was a homeless runaway with her sister. The fact that she thinks even a little that the only reason Chi is around is that she's studying her means that there have absolutely been people who avoided or abandoned her in the past for equally petty reasons. Plus, it's not like you can identify what a demon's abilities are just by looking at them. Sometimes you can make an educated guess, but looking at the two sisters, they are remarkably similar before they fully demonize yet their powers couldn't be more different.

@icarushector Kinda. It is funny in ironic sense for me, but also odd, but not in "irregular", but in somewhat "unreasonable" sense. If people are not proud of being themselves they cannot perform at their full potential. As long as you don't go to the extremes.
Also in this particular example it's more of a minute weakness, wich is fine.

119 explains why he keeps his distance from them, but I can't read Japanese. So between the MTLs, the pictures, and this chapter, here's what I gather/guess:

I think it's at least partly because Zeke is the source of the original drug that disables other demon's ability to demonify (He secretes from the spines on his tails and horns, I think.) Since Gospel is his and Lorem's child, he is immune, so he wants to keep that a secret so that people aren't too afraid of Gospel's potential power (having two powerful parents, after all) or use Gospel to further study the drug?
