@Solipsist it looks like the demon support agency and the demon management agency are separate and somewhat opposed if the Agent A scene is anything to go by.

I mean, yeah she doesn't have to worry about accidentally blowing someone up, but if the "a few drinks in" level of emotional instability this demonization seems to produce in her has her in this much social linked angst, just being a demon has obviously been enough to hamper her happiness in the past, and not just when she was a homeless runaway with her sister. The fact that she thinks even a little that the only reason Chi is around is that she's studying her means that there have absolutely been people who avoided or abandoned her in the past for equally petty reasons. Plus, it's not like you can identify what a demon's abilities are just by looking at them. Sometimes you can make an educated guess, but looking at the two sisters, they are remarkably similar before they fully demonize yet their powers couldn't be more different.
