I don't know what to think of that last page but I am glad that the father is starting to put more limits on their relationship. If the author is capable of bringing a romantic ending for both of them, then it's good that we see the father create more limits for her advances as it opens a more stable and healthy relationship as she needs to learn how to approach him instead of feeling like the girl is controlling the whole situation. The author really knows how to use paneling and silent moments, keeps you wondering and hooked for the next chapters.

Also, that "woof woof" reminded me of Scooby Doo, mistery inc. when Velma, as Shaggy's girlfriend who was jealous of scooby and Shaggy's relationship (yes, you read that right), tried to cheer Shaggy after a fight with scoobs by saying, and I am not kidding: "Velma Velma Doo".
