Makes sense. The whole opening up to each other and discussing something thats very personal, would leave you emotionally vulnerable. Thats mainly on Koto side whereas Kousuke has his job in question. This does show a disparity in terms of their mental well being though. Whereas the issues that Kousuke face have been rather recent, Koto has long term issues. Which is very important because Kousuke is able to settle it better within himself. Not to diminish whats he going through, but when compared to Koto he has less permanent emotional scars. Koto on the other hand cant let things go as fast as Kousuke. As someone noted below its as if Koto shuts down, and thats exactly it. Shes been treated so poorly by her mother for so long that shes basically become her puppet. So I dont think she didnt react to Kousuke getting apprehended out of a lack of empathy, but simply because she didnt know what to do. She needs to settle her issues and I think it should be healed with Kousuke. But it may be healed indirectly from Kousuke, because in losing him she realizes what she wants. All in all good chapter, as long as it makes sense im completely fine,
