I guess between siblings the older one will always look more reliable. That's the same thing for me with my older brother.

Oversleeping until 6 pm? Damn I automatically wake up at 7:30 after a hard day at work, even in the weekend.

Imagine being able to sleep beyond 6 AM. Imagine sleeping more than 4 hours at all 🙃

On the flip side, imagine needing 12+ hours of sleep every night and being perpetually sleep deprived most of your life because of it.

I actually slept 18 hours twice recently, but there was a combination of things going on that made me significantly exhausted, more so than I think I've ever been. Only other times I think I've slept that long would be when I was sick with a flu or cold.

Yeah, that kind of thing can be a real pain. There was a period when I slept 12+ hours a day and yet I was always tired. When it was at its worst I slept 16~18 hours a day. It really messed up my school life...

Turned out I have sleep apnea and I need a machine to forcefully keep me breathing while I'm asleep... =/

I'm glad you found out it was sleep apnea and got an APAP machine, though, so you stopped having to deal with that. I know it's not fun to use, but it sure beats stopping breathing while sleeping and being tired all the time. In my case it's not sleep apnea, my body just wants a lot of sleep most of the time. Lately it's been less, although it's been annoying in a different way because it's picked a certain time period it wants to wake up regardless of when I go to bed, so some days I'm tired early because I didn't get enough sleep. Only way to fix it is to go to bed earlier, which means before 10pm. Really not used to going to bed that early, seems more like something kids do.
