It's interesting. You know, we've had the traditional shounen style trope of gradually getting stronger through tough opponents, ala Hajime no Ippo, Dragonball, whatever. But anything can get stale after a while. Subaru approaches it like Tsuyoshi, where the protagonist is the... final destination or the pinnacle that all others strive against.

I've read all three chapters so far, this is a good one.
