I love how Hubert is dressed as a British Gentleman(?) interesting he’d have a monocle and western looking clothes but assuming he got them in that city maybe he blends into the aesthetic even tho the other merchants look diff , tho competition aside surely there’s enough room for another up and coming company unless he plans to “poach” existing companies/make new deals with places

I would think that his concern comes from the same reason why its been so long since an up and coming company has it made TRULY BIG without any "closed door deals" or "suport" with some big name brand.
Planned obsolescence didn't happen by accident, else you'd be able to get products with lifespans longer then the planned release date of that same brand's newest thing

lol yeah tho I’m sure his vamp self could prolly hypnotize/intimidate ppl vs Harley being some tough looking body guard so he doesn’t get messed with tho feels like it’d be easy to bring back a huuuge treasure or so in some place with a “dangerous” rep and sell it /make deals with the highest bidder

If not like finding other “awakeners” and selling cup ramen or something to them xD

Tho considering he has an “appraisal” skill I imagine he can call out some counterfeiters or offer higher quality products or so
