Huh, I was thinking the vampires of the various worlds would be different in some fashion, but seems like the insanity on cannibalism is a trait they share. Not that I'm saying cannibalism isn't insane in the first place. Subordinating that kid would be nice since he's a true blood IIRC.

Usually vampires can't even drink vampire blood in stories. They go feral if they haven't drank any blood in a long time. There might also be other bloodlines in the MC's fantasy world that have special traits. This family seems to be best with blood magic.
