If we take him at his word, he had a crush as a child, but grew up and learned about the dark side of aristocracy, and now he hates her. But obviously he will develop some sick, toxic "affection" for her. It'll probably look like the stereotypical, incestuous evil brother villain type. Constantly obsessing but hesitating to cross that line (sexually/romantically). I predict a very fucked up romance is coming soon. Stockholm syndrome meets yan-tsun-dere — a hybrid archetype: obsessively compulsively tsun-tsun with the occassional dere-dere moments. Usually out of earshot of the female lead, or when she's already asleep.
