as a reasonable human being I don't get what you mean aren't we just reading a romance story because we think it's cute or wholesome or is there like something I'm not getting here?

I think that either the art style makes it give off a creepy vibe, or the fact that it refers to them as being “yuri” which makes it sound WAY more superficial than if you just said “gay” or “lesbian”, that makes me feel like there’s some fetishy stuff going on, hence why I called it creepy. Also the detachment from the main focus of the story feels kind of stalky, like why isn’t this from the perspective of the two mcs? The feeling of having the perspective be from the boys point of view just rubs me the wrong way.

It feels like I’m seeing something I shouldn’t see, which was definitely what the author was going for which makes me uneasy and uncomfortable.
