It comes across as although she may have loved her to bits, she didn't really know her own daughter that well.

I think so too! Aster would be furious to know that her mother go against her wish and waste her effort like that.

I'm surprised that Aster hasn't realized that if she gives birth to her daughter again, raises her with love, and does everything the same...that her daughter will do the exact same thing, and she'll be stuck in an eternal time loop until she gets together with the man she actually loves.

I know she's grieving because she did...lose her daughter kinda but she really needs to accept that her daughter should not be the only thing that gives her happiness. Like, she was willing to help Penny out in this timeline...but she wants to drag her 1st timeline husband into a loveless stifling marriage again? He also has someone he likes too...(hopefully it's not Penny like some people are theorizing)

Really, I don't know what Lihen is thinking but she annoys me so much, like girl, your dear daughter gave you a spell and told you to have a happier life, nothing in your previous life was happy and you know it, why do you keep have your mind on "oh i have to do this or that" a man loves you and you love him back but you CHOOSE to ignore him, sis you are becoming a redflag it's incredibly annoying
