I was expecting a rampage through the capital. Kind of nice that it is a generally laid back chapter. Next will be a riot, but needed this break while they do a set up.
The author seems to focus on one story point at a time, so may only get a carriage scene next time.
On the series' events though, even if she wanted to, I can't see any way for her to have the same kid again. Easier to get struck by lightning a thousand times, than have such a perfect situation to have the child again.
I can only think that the lack of drawing her eyes is foreshadowing for that as well.

Seems like she's simply corrupt. Guy "likes" girl. Guy can't otherwise meet with girl. Guy bribes head maid. Head maid turns into matchmaker

It looks like the head maid was basically pimping out the girls who were under her on the pretext of arranging matches. Disgusting.

Considering the daughter has time magic, one really reaching possibility is that maybe the opening was already a few loops into this and that blessing of time magic on Lihen might also work as a sort of special connection so that regardless of her partner, Lihen's daughter will always be 'the same person'
She even emphasized "No matter what changes, I'll still be mum and dad's daughter" back in ch 1.
