He actually changed a whole lot, which in return accelerated some Events which shouldnt have taken place until later or changed them entirely. (As an example the Ambush in the Forest, which happened 1 Year prior to the Original Story.)

Seems like he just cant escape certain things, regardless of what he is trying to do.
Well, while trying to keep himself alive, he's also trying to herd events so that the Hero party can get stronger, unnoticed by Justus, and get to the final boss when they can still deal with him. If he makes too many waves, Justus will notice something and change all his plans.

The entire rationale contradicts the protagonists' motivation. If he fundamentally believes nothing will change in the story then his actions are pointless and he shouldn't be trying to survive. If they CAN change then then it's incredibly stupid to think of events (and people) as static. It makes the MC either incredibly dense or sociopathic towards other characters.

Just not great writing.
He knows things can change, things have definitely changed from the original plot line, but if it changes too much, he can no longer predict what's going to happen and will lose his greatest edge, therefore making his death more likely. Its 1000% in line with his stated motivations

through some form of clairvoyance, where MC is shown it failing (I have not actually seen a story like this, but it would be possible and could be very interesting if pulled off, as it could lead to a mental breakdown of the MC like "It wont work?? Then what have I been doing up to now?! Has everything been for naught??!!" Sorry for the side tangent).
“Wait a minute, why does my SFW manga have the tag ‘mind break’?”

But seriously that would be awesome. The scenario you are talking about with the MC having a mental breakdown would more likely occur in a regressor story rather than an isekai because regressors are usually much more sure that they know what has happened happen and plan around it, and then seeing their countless attempts were worth nothing and that it was futile on that path.
Also, an MC having a mental breakdown would look awesome, I’ve seen some, but never longer than 2-3 pages before they snap out of it or someone helps them snap out of it.

Yes, it would be more likely in a regressor story, however that would most likely be very different from what I had in mind. The core of my idea is that the MC has to make decisions they don't want to do. Sacreficing their relationshis, their people, ideals, etc. It has to be painful for the MC to make these choices, so that the later reveal is devasteting. The MC has to believe that they are making sacrefices for the greater good. And this basicly goes against the essence of regressor stories, as the aim in those is for the MC to gain enough of an advantage to win against the BBEG. The MC cannot be the "hero" of the story for this plot to happen the way I describe it. They have to be a stepping stone or smth similar. Almost like how it is here. But yeah, regressor stories could also rob do smth similar.

Yeah. I think your concept is very interesting. Let me know if you find any stories like it!
