@themanj why ? This is a monarchy, with nobles having all rights. If he kills his parents, he's defacto the new ruler of his territory, therefore the one in charge of passing judgement and investigating. So... No, he would never get caught for it.
Plenty of ways to have them get into an "accident" and blame fate too.

I know this is not that kind of manga, but I wish author of one of those potato fantasy stories would look up real problems people in power encountered when introducing new crops or farming methods. Or old farming methods on new location.
Potato riots (multiple independent armed rebellions of superstitious peasants suspecting nobles want to poison or curse them), sandstorms caused by deterioration of soil in different parts of the world, prioritising market over feeding themselves (that one is actually common to this day, then again it is mentioned by authors sometimes), rich peasants taking control over territories forming essentially mafia groups...
