Sadly this never got picked up again.
But at the same time, the author is the type to let his imagination run a lil too wild.
There could had been countless ways to put them in the mountains. This was most certainly the weirdest way.
Someone, with his help, caused his mother death and stole everything they owned... quite the unnecessary stretch.
