can someone tell me how they count left on these ultimate avatar techniques?

It's a bit late, but the avatars are sitting on something like a lotus bloom (I think). The number of "leaves" on the thing they are riding is what is being counted. Where there are multiple it can be hard to count but in chapter 79 you can clearly see a single leaf for Disciple #3.
