I loved how happy and carefree this whole chapter was. But then the ending note... :< I'm legit sad this is ending so soon, it feels entirely too abrupt. I would have gladly taken a timeskip if it meant getting to see these two goofballs tackle more projects together. It feels like there must have been something going on behind the scenes for it to wrap up so quickly. I saw there's a spinoff, but it has a totally different vibe. (Sewing machine that makes somen? Please, Gojo would be flipping out if noodles got on his good fabric. That's like something out of Marin's wildest dreams.)

and THIS is why i am super hesitant to buy physical manga volumes of series that are not yet completed. so many series i loved had shitty/rushed endings that left me with a sour aftertaste in my mouth, and i have a bad premonition that this one will be one of them...

at least this one is not like Oshi no ko.
That was a disaster of an ending.
Here we just have dropped B-plot lines here and there, it's like, whatever, mostly. I wish we had more, but I'll take the confession success and be happy about it.

Like I know it's been weirdly paced the last few chapters but if the author is having health issues they could wrap up the plot for a time and then take a hiatus or something instead of this.
