That's not normal? Filipinos eat like that, bruh! It's way better to use than knife & fork or chopsticks because you can use the spoon as a knife and scoop at the same time, especially with rice. Plus, you have way more control over portions and allows you to use it on soups and sauces as well. The only way for a spoon to fail is if the meat is not tender which is more a cooking skill issue than the utensil.![]()
Why is he holding a fork and a spoon at the same time? And why is he full fist holding them like he's a 3 year old? It's no wonder he's a messy eater.
I'm from Bergerland and not once in my life have I ever seen someone use a fork spoon combo beside toddlers. It just looked really odd to me. Then add on him having no idea how to use them and food all over his face. It made for a bizarre image. I'm now unsure if this guy is mentally capable of feeding/caring for himself. That's not normal? I do agree that the way he holds the utensils is like a toddler which might explain as to why he is a messy eater. But the spoon and fork is not the issue here.
He eats like my little brother (when he does use utensils). Also fork and spoon is an amazing combination as long as you’re not eating a really lean cut of steak. Also it’s probably easier for the artist to draw that than him using the utensils properly.![]()

The grip is weird, but spoon and fork are used in various contexts. A famous one in Europe being long pasta, that you twirl around.I'm from Bergerland and not once in my life have I ever seen someone use a fork spoon combo beside toddlers. You guys I got it, he's dating (and presumably intimate) with an Eldritch girlfriend right? He probably just has so much mental damage from interacting with Eldritch horrors on a daily basis, that at this point his brain no longer operates properly, and he can't even hold utensils the right way anymore. The grip is weird, but spoon and fork are used in various contexts.
