@arcsalvo : To me it was just a really fun gag manga (dat dynamic art!) that didn't even need a serious ending, which is maybe why it feels a bit unsatisfying. But like she said in the afterword, it's what she was compelled to write.

Well it ended on a decent note...At least I respected that ... but the whole Mai's mom arc was a tough arc to swallow.I get people tried to find her as being imperfect and having a tough time with her former husband. But the way she abandoned her family without a proper response
, couldn't explain the situation to a daughter -who genuinely wanted her to come back- anytime she met ( heck half the time she just letters) and even had the gall to tell her father to leave her behindwithout understanding their current relationship, they riled me up bad!!!.
Heck it was the mothers new partner that had to send Mai back to her father and not her. She is a terrible parent

Still Apart from really sour note I'm just glad the most of the manga was enjoyable
