The plot thickens. Apparently he is also aware of the actual situation...

It was obvious from the start that the ML somehow turned back time, but how and why ?
I can't wait for the explanation.

@areticentreader Someone said in a previous chapter
he is the one who turned back time because he's like half-demon or something, he wasn't trying to neglect Idris he just had self-esteem issues where he thought he didn't deserve love not realizing how his actions looked and were affecting Idris's social standing until she was stabbed

She is a bit dense, isn’t she? She clearly turned back in time thanks to Khalid, but she still has to catch on. Also, he must have loved her before she died. But like, who stabbed her?

The way he bought all of the dresses without seeing whether they looked good on her is smh. She may not even like them and you went ahead and bought them all without consulting her. As the reader, I was stunned by how he didn't even think to ask her what she thought of this.

She went for custom made and got readymade without even being able to enjoy the shopping experience. Idris could have had a wonderful experience within that store and found some things she liked, had other things altered, been complimented a few times by her husband and the shop keeps, etc etc. But we got this experience instead.

Then the way he bought the chef over is... 🤦

Khalid, what are you even doing? That's not how you woo a lady. You need to pay attention to her preferences. He looks so proud of himself for doing all this 🤦 is it even possible to dissuade him?

I don't blame Idris for not knowing what to do with this bizarrely nice version of her husband suddenly throwing mountains of gold at her without even pausing to consider how it might affect her. Now she's scared, not knowing why he's being like this.

Khalid has no romantic experience, got it. Good job author in being able to express this with only the few hints about his background and his behavior. Good job artist for the smug "I did good didn't I? Yeah I'm a good boiii" expression that conveys everything.

He looks like the type that wants to get casually and consensually stepped on.

It's called "My Husband's Reversal" and chapter 14 just came out.
So far a lot of questions have been answered except the most critical one:
who killed Idris and why.

I’ll always stan a manhwa where the ML is apart of the time reversal, love it.

The dress scene though...All I could think was how much of a burden it is to have someone buy you clothes without consulting you or knowing what you like first. 😞

Not to mention clothes go out of style quickly, so many of them will have to be given away before they can be worn. That "give me everything in the store" is wasteful instead of romantic.

@AnimefangirlX interestingly, I see that move pulled mostly by male leads with zero romantic experience or ones that in general are pretty clueless about how to actually give gifts.

The heroine is usually clueless and naive as well, so they usually play it off as "Aww, he loves me so much!" vs. " Dude has NO idea what to do with his money." I think "Why are You Doing This, Duke?" is the only series that discusses how wasteful and impractical it is, and even then not very seriously.
